IXL Lessons
At the beginning of each unit, I give students a set of IXL lessons that correspond with the topics that will be covered in that particular unit. Students have until the day of the final unit assessment to complete all of the IXL lessons for that unit. Since the lessons are due on the day of the final unit assessment, the due date for the lessons can't be determined until we are closer to the end of the unit. Once I have a date set for the final assessment, I will let the students know when IXL is due. Throughout the unit, I let students know what lessons we have covered so far in that unit. The goal is for students to follow along with the lessons as they are being taught in class. I do not expect students to finish the set of IXL lessons the day after I give them new lessons. Lessons should be gradually completed. On the ALGEBRA IXL LESSONS tab, you will be able to see the set of IXL lessons that are in our current unit of study. The lessons that we are discussed in class as well as the lessons that we have not discussed in class are listed for students to know if they are on track.

Targets/Resources
Each unit consists of a list of targets that addresses the topics that will be covered in that particular unit. On the TARGETS/RESOURCES tab, you will be able to find the targets listed for the current unit of study as well as online resources that I have found relating to that target. The majority of the resources that I have listed are from Khan Academy (https://www.khanacademy.org/) or LearnZillion (https://learnzillion.com/). These websites contain great videos that explain concepts that we are discussing in class. There are many times that I will also show these videos in class!
